Increasingly, as tragic statistics hit the news and a growing number of men speak up publicly about mental health, the issue of male mental health is receiving growing attention.

At The National Student, we believe that the issue is still not being discussed as much as it could or should be, and we want to change that.

The National Student

Today we are launching the MENtal Health project, a content series which will feature interviews, think pieces and stories relating to male mental health.

With around 75% of suicides being male, and around a third of men waiting over two years to open up to friends or family about mental health problems, or never opening up, the issue is urgent.
