Food poisoning can ruin a normal day, so there’s no way that we want to risk it ruining a holiday that we’ve been looking forward to.

Annoyingly though, a rise in the number of holidaymakers reporting food poisoning means that a lot of you might be at risk of spending more of your time away on the toilet than on the beach.

Not ideal, we think you’ll agree.

So, how do you ward off the infamous “Delhi Belly” – whether you’re in Spain or Mexico or India? And what should you do if (touch wood) your insurance doesn’t cover it?
