Gamer’s favourite marsupial, Crash Bandicoot, has returned with the N-Sane trilogy game collection.

Non-gamers and non-fans of the game and character may be wondering: Why all the fuss?

Crash Bandicoot is an iconic trilogy and character. The first Crash Bandicoot game was released on September 9th 1996. The game’s first became popular with the release of Crash Bandicoot as at the time running games were very popular among gamers.

The introduction of Crash Bandicoot to the PlayStation grabbed gamers' attention with its great graphics. As one of the earliest Running games it proved to be a spectacle among players, quickly obtaining a growing fan base.

The familiar style of a Running game meant that audiences had familiarity, but could also enjoy the uniqueness of the game.

Unusual and unique characters, such as Crash Bandicoot and Dr Neo Cortex, were an instant success with players as they found the characters to be funny, which ultimately made the game more enjoyable. The cartoon-like artwork of the game caused it to stand out against the more realistic artwork of other games.

Crash Bandicoot’s unique plot and adventure style made the game more interesting for players. Gamers liked the concept of traveling through different worlds and environments. At the time of the game’s release, Crash Bandicoot was considered to be superior to many other games because of its impressive animations and graphics.
