As we are slowly getting closer to spring and drinking outside, Echo Falls has created a brand new rose wine for us all to enjoy - with a twist; it's infused with GIN!

Now, we all know that rose wine is great to have at pre-drinks (or with a huge slice of cake) and so is gin, so it's about time this winning combination happened.

Echo Falls answered all our gin and rose wine prayers by announcing on Facebook that this heavenly combo is happening.

The statement read: 'A match made in heaven!

'We've taken our fruity rose and infused it with gin, to give you an early taste of summer.'.

The bottle, which will have strawberry and raspberry flavours, will be sold exclusively in store at Co-op and will cost £5 (just 50p more than all the other Echo Falls wines being sold at Co-op.)

And don't worry about the alcohol level either - it has a nine percent ABV, meaning it's perfect both for a nice chilled evening and for going out.

Many people seem excited about the launch of the gin and wine combo.

One comment on Facebook read: 'All you need is a giant straw.'

Another comment read: 'Perfect night in.'

However, as always, there were some sour grapes (get it?) as one less than enthusiastic comment read: '9%, that's pop lol no gin in there.'

There are over 4000 Co-op stores across the UK to shop in, so no excuse for not trying this new and exciting combination!
