The annual shopping extravaganza Black Friday sees organisations slashing the prices of thousands of their products in hopes to boost sales over the festive period. The tradition came from America, and takes place on the first Friday after Thanksgiving, falling on Friday 25th November this year. In the US many people have the day of workm and as a result Black Friday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year. To keep up with the techy times, there is also Cyber Monday, where similar deals pop up all over the internet - this year the event will be on the 28th November. Companies to watch Amazon started their Black Friday Sale 12 days early, starting on Monday 14th November, and are having 50% off ‘Lightning Deals’ up until the 25th. Don’t forget, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime for early access to deals and express delivery. Argos are running 13 consecutive days of deals running up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Expect to see thousands of deals on tech, toys and electronics.
