Ever since the project was announced, anticipation for Quentin Tarantino’s ninth film, Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood, has been incredibly high. After months of teasing bits of information, casting announcements and posters, we’ve finally been given a trailer. Thankfully it looks just as amazing as we’ve hoped it would be.
Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing. We are brought into the life of a TV star Rick Dalton, played by the always talented Leonardo DiCaprio. We also get introduced to his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth, played by Brad Pitt. The two friends get into all types of misadventures together, attempting to find their way around Hollywood and brighten their own stars in the entertainment industry.
We follow as these two men make their way around an industry they hardly recognise anymore, trying to make their mark on Hollywood.
The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age. We also get a chance to see Margot Robbie, cast as Sharon Tate, and the trailer also gives us the slightest glimpse of Luke Perry in his last ever role before his untimely passing. The film is expected to follow multiple different storylines in the typical Tarantino fashion, and hopefully, we'll get the chance to see all of these stories play out.
Once Upon a Time....In Hollywood will be released in cinemas on 14th August 2019
