Based on the smash-hit West End play Posh, The Riot Club is the Oxford-set story of two freshers, Miles and Alistair, and their initiation into ‘The Riot Club’ – a fictionalised version of Oxford University’s notorious Bullingdon Club (former members of which include David Cameron), a group of the country’s most highly educated and aristocratic male undergraduates.

Set over the course of a few months (unlike the play which took place entirely in one evening), The Riot Club is a darkly funny comment on a part of society that few of us ever really see, and what happens when arrogance gets out of control.

Having already seen it, we can confidently say that The Riot Club is one of this autumn’s must see films. Ahead of its screening at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, here’s a new clip, which sees the essentially good but easily influenced Miles being picked up and forcibly removed from a college library in order to undergo the beginning of his Riot Club initiation...
