The VFX Festival returns, bigger than ever before

Returning for its second year, The VFX Festival will once again invite fans of all things big and spectacular to experience the world of visual effects in close-up and hear some of the movie industry’s best-kept secrets.

This year’s festival will see an upgrade on last year's two day programme, offering a ten days of specially curated exclusive screenings, VFX breakdowns, talks and interactive workshops from 4th-13th November.

By taking a look at the year’s biggest blockbuster films, the workshops will look at the wonders of of World War Z, Kick Ass 2, White House Down and Assassin’s Creed, as well as sci-fi hit Gravity.

With the support of software giant Autodesk and the expertise of London’s leading VFX studios, there will be fascinating opportunities to explore this important aspect of the film industry.

Vue Cinemas, Leicester Square, will the exclusive screenings that include presentations from Cinesite who will take a look at the creation of World War Z. MPC (Moving Picture Company) will tell the exclusive story of their mind-blowing effects on Assassin’s Creed.
