The Best Halloween Makeup Tutorials on Youtube Right Now

The spooky season is officially upon us and it’s time to get your face paints out and get creative. There are no limits when it comes to Halloween and whether you're a palette pro or blending beginner, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s a rundown of six of the best Halloween tutorials on YouTube, from full body painted head turners to simple spooky eye makeup looks.

Jamie Genevive - Playboy Bunny

This look has absolutely blown up on Instagram and for a very good reason. Jamie has managed to create the perfect combination of fun, sexy and spooky. I don't think this tutorial would be as difficult to follow as it looks, but you might have to splash out a little on face/body paint! The best thing about Jamie’s tutorials is that you can always rely on her to link the products used in the description, which saves a lot of internet scouring!

James Charles and Kylie Jenner - Skeleton

Of course, a collaboration between these two would gain a lot of attention, but the best part about this tutorial is that it looks far more complex than it actually is, using only makeup. A lot of skeleton looks out there need face paint, but this could probably be created using products you already own.

Tina Halada - Spider Eyes

Another tutorial that can be achieved with products that are likely to already be in your collection, this one is a great way to spook up your look without the need of an actual costume. This one is bound to impress your friends and definitely worth an attempt whether you’re a total pro or complete novice.

NikkieTutorials - Colourful Clown

Arguably the queen of Halloween makeup, there probably isn’t a single Halloween look that you won’t find on her channel. As part of her ‘Halloweek’ series she featured a colourful clown makeup tutorial that is bound to stand out from the crowd. This one will definitely require some patience, as well as a few products not already in your collection (unless you have some neon face paints left over from the festival season!), but it’ll be absolutely worth it when you’re turning heads and getting those all-important insta likes.

Jackie Aina - Catwoman

If bright colours and face paints aren't quite your thing, Auntie Jackie has your back. This Catwoman look is not only easy to create, but it’s also a fairly easy costume to pull together at the last minute. Just dress head to toe in black and accessorise with some cat ears and killer heels to secure a simple yet super sexy Halloween costume.

PatrickStarrr - Alien Glam

Last but most definitely not least is PatrickStarrr and his outrageously glamorous alien look. The video is worth watching for the intro alone and the look is incredibly OTT - perfect for those of you that aim to go all out for the spooky season. If you’re not quite prepared for dousing your entire body in glitter, the face makeup paired with a silver catsuit would still do the trick and look just the right amount of extra.
