Solange and ASAP Rocky lead CK campaign

Welcoming a first for Calvin Klein, their digital-first ad My Family: #MYCALVINS puts Solange Knowles at the forefront of their new campaign.

#MYCALVINS first kicked off back in 2014, with a never-ending list of celebrities, artists and influencers posing on Instagram showing off… Yes, you guessed it, them in their Calvins.

The social media campaign included the likes of Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and FKA Twiggs and inspired plenty of us to post our pics with our beloved CK’s.

This year the campaign got a revamp with artistic Solange kicking it off, casting a selection of her musical ‘family’ – a group of musical influences from R&B singer Kelela to Blood Orange, to participate in the campaign overlooked by Creative Director Raf Simons.

The idea behind this campaign is to unite a selection of talented generations and creative individuals as a family – combining so many strong characters as the one unity with family values at the core.

After Solange kicked off the campaign, which will have ‘families’ promoting the launch through till Spring 2018, ASAP Rocky also got involved with his ASAP Mob.

The Mob produced a 30-second video of them dancing, chatting and chilling out in their Calvins for their section of the ad campaign, which was rolled out onto social media at the start of December.
