These two women who were left badly scarred after acid attacks walked the catwalk to raise awareness of violence against women, and totally bossed it.

The British Asian Trust teamed up with the GMSP Foundation to create the Give a Girl a Future campaign, aimed at honouring and financially supporting victims of serious acid attacks.

Adele, 24, was attacked by her ex-boyfriend while waiting for a bus, while Laxmi – who has since become a prolific campaigner – was attacked as a 15-year-old when she rejected the advances of a 32-year-old man.

They joined models on the runway wearing clothes from British Asian designer Raishma and shoe designer Lucy Choi (who is Jimmy Choo’s niece) ahead of London Fashion Week.

Truly inspirational to see.
