Alfred Angelo, one of the world's largest bridal retailers, has revealed a new wedding dress collection inspired by popular Disney princesses. The 2015 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collection consists of eight different wedding dresses, inspired by everyone's favourite Disney princesses, including the one and only Elsa from the Disney's exceptionally popular 2013 release Frozen. Belle's dress is arguably the collection's most traditional. Rather than adopting the yellow colour of the character's original dress, made famous by Beauty and the Beast, Alfred Angelo's design is a traditional white-wedding gown, still with Belle's classic full skirt and off-shoulder sleeves. Cinderella's sweetheart-neckline dress features a draped bodice accented with a sheer beaded yoke intended to glisten like the princess' glass slipper. It is available in both Cinderella's famous pale blue, or in the more traditonal wedding gown shades of white or ivory. At the less traditional end of the spectrum is Ariel's green wedding dress, with its fishtail skirt mimicking the character's mermaid tail. The Princess Jasmine-inspired gown too is a little unusual - rather than a dress, it is a stunning, vivid blue jumpsuit complete with a detachable train. Michele Piccione, Alfred Angelo's Chief Creative Officer, said of the new Disney princess-inspired range: "Along with the silhouettes and embellishments of each gown, color gives us another way to bring the magic of Disney’s imagined storytelling to life and allow brides to express their individuality on their special day." Since its release, the collection has received much praise and admiration from Disney fans of all ages and nationalities on social media. Given the overwhelming success of Frozen, Elsa's ice-queen gown has proved particularly popular, but with such a range of styles to choose from, the collection is sure to bring out the inner princesses of brides-to-be everywhere.
