Retailer TK Maxx has teamed up with Comic Relief to offer a limited edition collection of T-shirts for Red Nose Day 2015, designed by fashion royalty!

With designs from Karl Lagerfeld, Diane von Furstenberg, Anya Hindmarch, Matthew Williamson and Henry Holland, you can look good and do good when you buy one (or more!) of the seven new Red Nose Day branded tees, priced from £9.99.

Each design bears an iconic quote, and incorporates the charity’s signature red, white and black colour scheme, and bears a famous quote. The 2015 collection also includes kids sizes, a onesie and an apron.

First introduced in 1985 by comedian Lenny Henry and comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis, Comic Relief aimed to bring relief to victims of famine in Ethiopia. Since then, the charity has grown to become one of Britain’s most well-known charities, sparking imaginative and wide-reaching fundraising ideas to support developing countries and help to further charitable initiatives in Britain.

Anya Hindmarch, whose T-shirt design features Oscar Wilde’s legendary line ‘Be yourself, everyone else is already taken’, said: ‘The tireless and very brilliant efforts of the team at Comic Relief are incredibly inspiring. To be a part of the 2015 campaign and support such a wonderful cause is an honour. And quite frankly, fun!’

Matthew Williamson, who has  designed a quirky feather print tee for 2015, said: ‘I am proud to be a part of the Red Nose Day campaign this year, it is such an important initiative which gives aid to people with unimaginably difficult lives across the UK and Africa. It is an honour to design a T-Shirt that I hope will help raise a smile and some much needed funds to improve conditions and create lasting change for those who need it most.’

Two designs from Henry Holland come with quotes from much-loved characters Baldrick, from Blackadder, and Hannah Hovarth of hit series Girls. Holland added: ‘I’m really honoured to be a part of such an amazing campaign. It’s such a worthwhile cause and just to be playing a small part is raising money is extremely rewarding.’

This year, Red Nose Day is on Friday 13th March 2015 – make sure you’re there, and that you’ve got the T-shirt! Buy yours from Comic Relief, or from TK Maxx online or in store now.
