Are you a budding fashion blogger? Or perhaps you see yourself writing for your favourite glossy magazine? Well, if you know your Balenciaga from your Burberry, you’re definitely going to want to check out the Venus Fashion Goddess Programme! Venus has teamed up with fashion industry leaders to offer students the chance of a lifetime to kick start their future in fashion. The Venus Fashion Goddess Programme gives aspiring fashion writers and presenters the opportunity to write for some of the industry’s top magazines, or present for a leading online fashion channel. The winning students will have the opportunity to write their own style column for Cosmopolitan, Company, Reveal or Sugarscape.com, or try out their scriptwriting and presenting skills for reelkandi.tv at London Fashion Week. Each winner will also get to meet celebrity style icon, fashion designer, star of The City and Venus Goddess ambassador Whitney Port, and ask her for tips and advice on the fashion industry. Joining Whitney as a judge on the expert panel of fashion mentors are Jo Busby, production coordinator for the fashion channels at reelkandi.tv, and Natalie Wall, an online fashion editor with years of experience in the industry. And, if you thought it couldn’t get better than that, you were wrong! Each winner will also receive a bursary to help further their fashion career once they’ve finished their current university studies. Then get creative and get applying - we can't wait to see what you come up with! To enter and apply, upload an illustration, mood board, styled selfie or two-minute video to the Gillette Venus UK Facebook page, telling them ‘What will be the hottest Goddess trend for Spring/Summer 2014?’ The closing date for entries is 20th October 2013 and, as a bonus treat, the first 100 entries will receive a free Venus & Olay razor. So go on – put pen to paper, or face to film, and make your fashion dreams a reality! The Venus Fashion Goddess Programme is open to all residents in the UK and ROI aged 18 years and over; terms and conditions apply.
