Following the school climate strikes on the 15th February, many politicians were criticised for their comments related to the event. Downing Street stated, "It is important to emphasise that disruption increases teacher's workloads and wastes lesson time that teachers have carefully prepared for".

The government really does seem to have 'blinkers' on, with no where near enough time, focus, or energy being spent on the issue of climate change.

But why shouldn't these children display their anger and frustration at the government, who are not doing nearly enough to fight climate change? It is up to the government to alter their policies and implement real change before it is too late.
