Recipe: Mousse au Chocolat

After yesterday's French recipe, La quiche Lorraine, a mousse au chocolat is the perfect dessert…

This recipe is easy and  is the best way to cook a tasty and delicious mousse.

You don’t need a lot of ingredients:

-        6 eggs

-        200g of dark chocolate

Yes, that’s all… but you can add some coffee (= a tea spoon) to the chocolate once it is melted.

What to do:

  1. Put the chocolate (after chopping it) in a bowl that
will fit over a pan of bowling water.
  2. Mix directly the egg yolk with the chocolate.
  3. Whisk the egg whites to fairly soft peaks, here you can
add some sugar but this is not necessary. Then mix it with the chocolate.
  4. Finally keep the preparation in the fridge for 2 or 3
    hours.

This chocolate mousse is by far the easiest recipe I have done until now. I hope you will enjoy it, and you would say like my housemate last year: “Woah! This is heaven!” Bon appétit!
