Supporting new talent
Hi – welcome to the Media Hub. Here you can find out more about the different programmes we offer, why you might want to join our growing list of student contributors (the bigger question is why wouldn’t you?!), and the different job opportunities we have here at The National Student.
Have a click around and see what you think.
About the new media programme
Our aim is to support new talent in all forms of media. Whether you’re a blogger, vlogger, artist, journalist or photographer, we have a programme to help you.
The future is bloody scary, but we want to alleviate some of that fear by helping you build a foundation of work outside of university and school; our programmes will give you the structure needed to help you create an impressive portfolio of work, secure placements with industry partners and basically ensure your CV stands out when graduation comes along (and it happens faster than you think).
Who can join?
Any student can join, whether you’re a fresher or in your final year, or even a recent graduate. So long as you’re willing to create content for us and stick with the programme, are enrolled in a university or higher education course (or were until recently), are passionate and have a social media presence, we’d love to hear from you.
The big question. The National Student is dedicated to showcasing the best student work across all forms of media; we want to support you, help you build an online presence and ensure you benefit from some offline perks.
Might sound too good to be true but we live by our motto: Support new talent.
