Budding explorers can make their dream become a reality by embarking on an all-expenses-paid holiday across the globe this summer. The catch? An Instagram audience will dictate their next move. Expert travel company Busabout is searching for six travellers for The Great Travel Experiment who will travel to either Southeast Asia, Europe or the USA, all while capturing adventure-packed and envy-inducing content for the company's social media channels.

In addition to all paid expenses, the chosen candidates will receive a payment of £200 every week. Travellers can choose between two positions: Instagram Storyteller or Videographer. The Instagram Storyteller will be someone who is confident in front of a lens with excellent storytelling skills whereas the Videographer will be someone with experience in filming and editing video content. Both positions require someone with a creative mind and a passion for travel. All successful candidates, regardless of their position, will be required to get involved in every challenge the Instagram audience selects... and they won't be for the faint-hearted. Challenges could range from eating creepy crawlers in Asia or taking the ultimate leap of faith in a skydive. Decisions will be made using Instagram's interactive poll feature. While it is possible to apply as a team, the company is also urging solo travellers to step forward since two solo applicants can be united as a team. Think you’ve got what it takes? To apply for one of the content creator positions, visit Busabout's website to apply for your position and select a preferred destination. You will be asked to record a 60-second video showcasing the best bits of your very own hometown. Videos can be submitted on the company's website and entries are open until 8th of April 2019. After this, a shortlist of lucky candidates will be selected and the final vote will be left to the public.
