Concern growing for Reading University student missing after nightout at campus bar

Police “extremely concerned” for missing Reading University student Daniel Williams, 19, who hasn't been seen since leaving his SU bar in the early hours of Thursday.
Daniel was last seen at 3sixty nightclub on Reading University's Whiteknights campus but was reported missing after he didn’t return to his home on nearby Blenheim Road.

Thames Valley Police have launched a search for the Computer Science student and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them on 101 quoting the reference URN 1307 31/1.

In a statement Superintendent Jim Weems said: “Daniel was last seen just after midnight on Thursday morning, leaving the student union bar on the Whiteknights campus of the University of Reading.
“His disappearance is completely out of character, and we are extremely concerned for his welfare.
“We remain open-minded as to the circumstances behind Daniel’s disappearance, but naturally, as the search enters its fourth day, our concern for him is growing.”
Alongside the police search, which includes the National Police Air Service, volunteers from the Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue team have been supporting Thames Valley officers in the search for Daniel.
The student is 6ft tall, of slim build and has short light brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black or blue jeans, a black hooded top and black shoes.
He is one of two U.K. students who have gone missing this week after a nightout, Libby Squire from the University of Hull remains missing after last being seen around 11pm on Thursday (31/1).
