This is the WORST university in the UK, according to The Guardian

Bucks New University ranked the worst in the country according to the league tables published by The Guardian.

Additionally, London Met (117), Cumbria (118) and York St John (119) all maintained the exact same positions on the table as they held in 2018.

Bedfordshire and West of Scotland have also dropped down from their respective places in 2018, also placing them in the bottom ten worst unis in the country.

The university most negatively affected by the league table is the University of Middlesex, dropping from 70th in 2018 down to 112th in this year’s rankings.

The University of Middlesex has also been ranked as the worst place to study English and Creative Writing, with only 34.2% of students satisfied with the course. They replace St Mary’s in Twickenham, dropping 4 places from 102nd out of 106 universities in 2018. 

Leeds Beckett has been rated the worst university for Law along with Winchester, in comparison to Northampton and London Met last year.

On the Science front, Russell Group universities Cardiff and Sheffield are surprisingly in the bottom 10 for Physics.

London Met and East London are ranked the lowest for Pharmacology, swapping places with each other from last year's table. For Chemistry, Liverpool John Moores is ranked the lowest, with Cardiff again at the bottom of the table.
