Greggs have been forced to apologise for swapping baby Jesus for a sausage roll in their nativity advert.
The advert shows the three wise men gathered around Greggs' most famous product - the sausage roll.
We went on twitter to see how people responded and many were offended by the creative decision:
Very offensive. Whether you believe or not , respect others beliefs Greggs— Juliavaughan (@Juliava61613642) November 15, 2017
But others were dissapointed that baby Jesus was not a steak bake:
Someone over on Facebook has commented on a Greggs advent calendar post pointing out that ‘Lord Jesus’ backwards is ‘Susejd rol’...— Luke (@lukebbz) November 16, 2017
Greggs have apologised saying their actions were not intended to hurt anyone:
Damn right #Greggs should apologise. Sausage rolls are the most overrated food. Should have been a steak bake. Far better messiah— LFC Dane_89 (@LFCDane_89) November 15, 2017
