Hear This: Iselin - Lost

You might recognise her fairytale voice from Alan Walker's club-friendly house single 'Faded' back in 2015. Now, Norwegian-born Iselin is back with an arsenal of intimate new material.

Her second solo release, 'Lost' builds slowly through swelling, emotional verses and delicately tinkering synthesisers. While subtle in its production, the new single is poignant in its heartfelt lyricism and hauntingly infectious choral hook ("I know that I can be too much / I'm just a little lost / I didn't mean to fuck it up / I'm just a little lost"). Unlike her debut single 'Bathtub', 'Lost' tears down the synthetic pop walls to expose the bare bones of Iselin's songwriting abilities.

"Lost is probably one of the most personal and emotional songs I've ever written," said Iselin ahead of the release. "That terrifies me a bit to be honest, but at the same time it feels good to release something that just came straight from the heart."

'Lost' is universal in its message, encapsulating the listener in a shroud of empathy and perhaps even providing closure. It's a tender, progressive pop single permeated by honest lyricism.

Listen to the new single now, and prepare for a slew of new material in the coming months.
