Ten years on from its original release, Natty has teamed up with influential poet and thinker Benjamin Zephaniah on a radical re-imagining of his classic single 'Badman'.

A prolific ambassador of reggae, Natty made his mark in 2008 with debut album Man Like I, featuring floating rhythms 'Coloured Souls' and 'Bedroom Eyes' which soon became synonymous with the genre. Based in London, Natty has always used his personal experiences and his surroundings as a source of creative inspiration.

The iconic chants of "Jah Rastafari" are a siren call to reggae lovers everywhere, and in Natty and Benjamin Zephaniah's "Rastafari Mix" of the original 'Badman', lazy summer afternoon guitars and driving drums bring the message closer to home than ever. Natty's spiritual musings are underpinned by oodles of London swagger, while Zephaniah's spoken word middle section cuts through the bare bones of the track, touching on themes of love, guidance and revolution.

Like most of Natty's releases, 'Badman X' is bursting with positive energy and warming light. It's just a taste of the fully re-worked anniversary album, Man Like I & I X, set to release on the 5th October.
