With a new album, Black Rainbow Sound, set to be released at the end of this month, the Leeds-based indie rock duo share their latest single 'Satellite'.

Dizzying with vintage electronics and plush melodic hooks, 'Satellite' was inspired by an intimate conversation with lead singer Liza and her dog. Ryan of Menace Beach spoke recently in a press release about the creative process behind the new single: "I wrote the words to 'Satellite' after I came back to Leeds and saw how crazily nuanced and weird the bond between Liza and her dog had become."

'Satellite' is alive with fizzy drum-machine samples and sluggish keyboard sobs which shroud introspective topics surrounding the celestial, the light and dark, depression and love, in a cloak of the seemingly upbeat. Liza's vocals are highlighted by roaring background synths, and she delivers her lyrics with effortless cool.

The eagerly-anticipated new album Black Rainbow Sound will arrive on 31st August via Memphis Industries, after a string of early single releases including 'Crawl In Love' and LP title-track 'Black Rainbow Sound'. The duo will be taking the new full-length record on tour this October and November, playing dates across major UK cities.
