Despite the assumptions of the band's name, Sorry are an unapologetically experimental rock band from London, with a hunger for unique, haunting sounds.

The band emerged from the friendship of lead guitarist and singer, Asha Lorenz and Louis O'Bryen, who have known one another since their childhood, and this close relationship is evident in the bold nature of their music. They were joined by band mates Lincoln Barrett (drums) and Campbell Baum (bass), and are now collectively fine-tuning their grunge, confrontational sound. 

'Twinkle' is softer than their previous tracks; it has a slower tempo and more readily exploits the silence of pauses in order to create uncertainty within the listener. The song's title connotes old lullabies, and this contributes to the twisted innocent atmosphere that the band also explores with the rest of the songs. This is similarly demonstrated by the mellow vocals, which are sinister in their intimate and soft tone.
