Fancy a summer outing like no other?

Big performers will be headlining at Sandown Park Racecourse on Thursday, June 8th, in a day that guarantees some summer fun, with horseracing and live music outside in the sun.

After races during the evening, Grammy Award winners Clean Bandit will be putting on a show alongside 2015 X Factor victor Louisa Johnson.

Timings for the day are:

- Gates Open: 4pm

- First race: 5:50pm

- Last race: 8:35pm

- Clean Bandit with Louisa Johnson Live in concert after 8:45pm

Clean Bandit has ties to 2016 Sandown Park headliner Jess Glynne, who was featured on the band’s 'Rather Be,' the massive hit that became the group’s first number one single.

Since then, Clean Bandit have kept their momentum going and their track “Rockabye”, featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie officially broke the record for having the longest-running consecutive reign in the top spot of the UK charts for a British artist in 2016. The song spent nine weeks at number one in the charts, including the sought-after 2016 Christmas Number One.

“We’re really looking forward to headlining Sandown Park Racecourse on 8th June,” Clean Bandit said.

“Summer gigs are always a lot of fun, and it’s always special to be headlining an event. Also, there’s the added bonus of having Louisa Johnson playing as well!”

Louisa will join Clean Bandit on stage and they will undoubtedly perform their collaboration 'Tears' together, which gave Louise her first top five hit. Since being released, the song has received over 110 million views on YouTube.

Johnson won the 12th series of the X Factor when she was just 17, making her the youngest winner in X Factor history.
