Linnea Olsson continues to showcase her talent on quirky, art-rock single, 'Hall of Tragedy'. We have the first listen.

Olsson is clearly not afraid to be audacious, something which is evident in the bold and powerful opening notes. The singer-songwriter’s Kate Bush-like vocals give the song personality and attitude, fused with the haunting yet beautiful sounds of her cello.

The multi- instrumentalist has an unconventional sound, one very different to what is commonly heard in modern music, yet she expertly sways it in her favour, playing to her strengths and staying true to her emotions.

The lyrics are hard-hitting, almost blunt in some ways, yet this helps paint a picture as Olsson sings about falling into tragedies.

'Hall of Tragedy' is a dark and moody synopsis of the world we currently live in, but it creatively takes listeners on a near spiritual journey into a distant, yet realistic dystopia.

The single forms part of Olsson’s forthcoming EP, For Show, available from 24th February.
