A unique feature of this Battle Royale will be the inclusion of land, sea and air vehicles which players can use as transportation across the map.

This game is set to be one of the first Battle Royale games for the Nintendo Switch console. Crazy Justice is an upcoming Battle Royale game which bears a striking similarity to Fortnite with its colourful and cartoon feel. Players can create teams with friends from other platforms or can choose to play the story mode.

Immerse yourself in the cel-shaped, steampunk-inspired world, where you will act as the hero and save the world from evil in locations such as New York and Egypt. Along the way, you will be able to collect and win items, customise your characters and upgrade your weapons. There is also a feature which allows you to customise and create your own skill decks, much like a deck of cards for you to improve your chances of success in battle!

Islands of Nye

There are options to either play solo, in duos or join a five-player squad. Need to practice your shooting skills? Use your queue time practicing shooting other players in Gun-Game or make use of the game’s offline shooting range.

This game is all about strategic thinking and tactical decision making - do you have what it takes?

Darwin Project

 Release Date: Summer 2018

Xbox One and PC

The Darwin Project is a free-to-play Battle Royale game which is set in a dystopian post-apocalyptic world. It is a live scientific preparation for the impending Ice Age where players are put through their paces to survive the cold and fight to the death. Ten players are placed into the game and set off on their path to victory, tracking opponents footprints through the snow and setting traps all in hopes to be last player standing. The eleventh player of the game takes on the role of ‘Show Director’ who watches over each player of the game and has the ability to give players instructions, close off areas of the map, drop nuclear bombs and start gravity storms. Another social element to the game is the ability for viewers watching on Twitch or Mixer to influence what is going on in the game. Can you survive the elements?

SOS

Release Date: TBA (Now in Early Access via Steam)

PC

This online survival game pits you against 15 other players on a desert island in a reality TV-style game show, where only three of you will escape. SOS offers something completely unique from other Battle Royale games, as it has a huge social element where players are required to use a microphone and communicate with other players and earn the favour of a live audience. Each game is broadcast live via Twitch overlay, ‘Hero’, where spectators can vote on in-game events that will influence your experience. At the beginning of the game, you will start alone on a beach and have to survive against killer ape-like monsters, along the way you will have to make friends with other contestants (which might result in betrayal), work together, find gear and ultimately survive in order to come out on top.

Dying Light: Bad Blood

Release Date: TBA

PS4, Xbox One, PC

Dying Light: Bad Blood will pit you against five other players where you will battle to collect 1,000 blood samples from AI-controlled zombies, whilst killing different types of enemy, each with a different blood sample along the way, before catching the last seat on the helicopter out of town. The game also incorporates tactical parkour into the mix, where you can run and jump over almost anything on the map or you might choose to chase another player and steal their samples - all with hopes of becoming the last survivor.

Acting quickly and on instinct is key to this fast-paced game...it is set to make your heart race!
