Big news for all the food lovers out there- we have a new condiment on the market! Well, maybe not exactly unheard of, but a twist to a well-known and beloved brand.
Sarson’s- the vinegar brand we’re used to seeing on restaurant tables, at the local chippy and most-importantly- at home, have come up with a pleasant surprise for all the chips-and-vinegar lovers out there.
A completely new flavour, with a touch of history and vintage notes, Sarson’s latest product- Sarson’s Extra Strong 1794 has been brewed to give a more intense taste and be a stronger alternative to classic malt vinegar. It’s perfect for adding extra flavour to chips or a sharper twist to your favourite dish.
Sarson’s Extra Strong 1794 has been developed with Sarson’s precision and years of experience. It is brewed using the same unique 223-year-old method as its original malt brother, brewed in large wooden vats made from oak and pine. The flavour develops over seven days, and small tweaks to the original recipe create a higher acidity, delivering a distinctively stronger and full-flavoured vinegar. The name is also bound to the brand’s history- 1794 is the year Sarson’s first factory was founded.
The exquisite vinegar experience contains eight per cent acidity, compared to the usual five per cent, which makes it one of the strongest vinegars on the market.
And in case your mouth is watering already and you’ve put the chips in the oven (we can’t judge), Sarson’s Extra Strong 1794 is available in Sainsbury’s stores for only £1,10.
