The upcoming musical Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has finally got a trailer, and it looks like a kind of magic.

Yesterday, 20th Century Fox debuted the official trailer for the highly anticipated film that depicts the story behind one of the world’s greatest rock bands. The film, due for release on November 2nd, stars Rami Malek (Mr Robot) as the iconic Freddie Mercury, alongside Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.

Malek has already attained a notable amount of appraisal for his undeniable resemblance to the late singer, reaffirming the statement by wearing Mercury’s signature black leather pants and matching shirt in the trailer, reenacting a performance of the one of the bands most recognised hits, ‘We Will Rock You’.

Whilst we get a more intimate look at various character portrayals, and a stylishly cut montage of Malek showcasing a number of Mercury’s most extravagant outfits, the trailer doesn't do much to reveal the initial plot of the film, although, we do know that the film, scripted by “The Theory of Everything” Oscar nominee Anthony McCarten, will follow the monumental band from their early breakout, to their sudden and colossal rise to total stardom.

In its limited time of one and a half minutes, the constrained trailer presents itself as more of a teaser for what we can expect later this year, but from the minimal first look we've had, I think it’s safe to assume the film will be full of glitz, glamour, and many captivating performances that will demonstrate the true legacy of the renowned band.

The trailer is unquestionably fulfilling for now, but, I want it all!

Bohemian Rhapsody is due to release on November 2nd.
