Deciem Founder Brandon Truaxe dies

It has been reported today that Brendan Truaxe, founder of the beauty and skincare brand Deciem, has passed away. 

The visionary, who first made headlines for launching 10 beauty brands at once, was reported to have 'fallen' from a condominium building. 

Brandon's boyfriend and Deciem employee Riyadh Sweedan, told Canada's National Post that he didn't think that Truaxe had jumped but instead fallen from the building in Toronto. 

Brandon created Deciem in Toronto, where it gained a following and launched the Ordinary, a skincare brand whose products cost mostly less than £15. 

Brandon had recently been ousted from Deciem after receiving negative publicity regarding some troubling messages on the company's Instagram - which alerted minority investor Estee Lauder. According to the National Post, he had 'denied being mentally ill'.
