For the reception at Frogmore House, Meghan chose a stunning Stella McCartney halter neck dress, with a low back. McCartney told Woman’s Wear Daily that dressing the newest addition to the Royal family had “truly been one of the most humbling moments of [her] career.”

While we can all dream of being styled by some of the countries top designers, it’s often not so obtainable. You can, however, emulate Meghan’s stunning evening gown thanks to high street dupes. Here’s a run down of some of our favourites!

Boohoo, Split Leg Maxi Dress, £22

Boohoo’s High Neck, Split Front Maxi’s is one of the closest affordable dupes out there. While Meghan definitely would have been breaking a Royal protocol with a thigh high split, it’s perfect for those wanting to emulate the same elegance for a special occasion.

ASOS, Halter Top With Drape Back £22 (sale, £32 full price)

Want to incorporate a the regal neckline into your daily wardrobe? This drape back top from ASOS mirrors the high neckline of Meghan’s dress, while providing interest strap detail down the back.

Tuck the front into ripped skinny jeans to emulate Meghan’s Invictus Games look.

Quiz, Creme Crepe Bodysuit, £24.99

This body suit is the perfect addition to your wardrobe if you adore the Stella McCartney dress, but want something a bit more wearable.

As with the nature of body suits, it can be paired with anything, allowing for a totally unique yet inspired look!

Missguided, White Crepe Jumpsuit, £18 (sale, £25 full price)

Unlike Meghan’s reception dress, this jumpsuit has a high back, making it ideal for those of us who prefer more coverage. Pair with strappy wedges and a statement clutch to take this look from day to night.

Missguided, Backless Midi Dress, £20

This midi-length, backless number is the perfect dupe for a less formal event.

Missguided’s dress gives a little bit of side boob action, which definitely would have broken Royal protocol, but as long as your Prince Charming isn't actually a Prince, you should be alright.

Zara, Cut Out Ribbed Dress, £25.99

While the asymmetric armholes may give the appearance of a halter neck, Zara’s dupe is actually high back. Midi-length, it’s ideal for the warmer weather and allows for a statement heel.

Debenhams, Crotchet Trim Halterneck Top, £11 (sale, £22 full price)

Love Meghan’s dress but have no suitable formal occasions coming up? Opt for a dainty halter neck top instead, perfect for casual events and summer barbecues.
