If it’s one thing fashion shows can always deliver, it’s insane accessories. From beautiful handbags to towering heels, to statement sunglasses, you can guarantee that in each show there will be a signature accessory that’s sure to sell out as well as causing a stir online.

Accessories can sometimes be much more affordable than the rest of the collection. But the designer's version of affordable doesn’t really stretch to the student budget. So I’ve rounded up the accessories seen all over the runway and where you can get yours for a fraction of the price!

This summer the bumbag has returned. Gucci, Zimmerman, Prada, Fenty X Puma, Marc Jacobs all featured a bumbag. An icon of the 90s and ideal for festivals, this bag works just as well in your everyday look as it does in a muddy field. Noon by Noor upgraded the nylon essential to a more sleek and sophisticated look with their belt bags in smaller envelope and structured rectangle shapes. The structured design and smaller shape allow you to wear a belt over a coat to nip in the waist for a sharp finish. Zara has a great black belt bag for £15.99 that would give an edge to any summer dress.

If there’s one accessory that’s all over your Insta feed it’s teeny tiny sunglasses, often in cat-eye form. This season, as evident from Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and Prada, it’s all about keeping the sunglasses small.

ASOS’s sunglass range is extensive, for classic teeny tiny sunglasses they do a black pair for £14 which will work for any occasion and give your outfit an instant fashion upgrade. For a closer look to Prada’s sunglasses, ASOS also have a great pair of Sliced Top Extreme Cat eye sunglasses for £14 in rose gold, which just scream wear with all summer clothing as soon as possible.

When it comes to your footwear, trainers were all the rage this season, but another shoe that would be a great addition to your summer wardrobe was the Rick Owen's super-sized sandal.

Now to my knowledge, you can’t get flatform sandals that chunky on the high street but you can get them far cheaper and far more wearable. Urban Outfitters are currently stocking Dr Martens Zebrilus Black sandals for £85. Yes, they’re a tad more expensive but so durable that they’ll last you for many summers, so you’ll always have a trusty pair of sandals to toughen up linen skirts and flared jeans.

Not only were the sandals supersized but so too were the earrings. From dangling flower garlands at Alexis Mabille to bananas at Prada to chunky diamonds at Burberry, the message is loud and clear that when it comes to your ears, the bigger the better. Earrings are a great way to instantly upgrade an outfit when you only have 5 minutes to get ready in the morning like the large rectangular yellow earrings at Sachin and Babi. These earrings speak for themselves and need little else to accompany them and you can find a similar blue square pair at Mango for £15.99 - paired with jeans, white t-shirt, a blazer and boots you can be perfectly stylish even when you sleep through your alarm.

For the perfect holiday, earrings take inspiration from Roksanda’s geometric earrings and Mango again is the go-to place to find this designer's twin for £17.99. Wear your hair up and keep your makeup minimal as these earrings deserve to be the centre of attention. Pair them with a white dress for dinner and drinks or an off the shoulder top and trousers for sunny days.

Which of these would you add to your wardrobe?
