Yes, you read that right. Tanning water is a new trend to hit the beauty counter and it's got everyone talking.

This revolutionary new product has people, including me, scratching their heads wondering how this product ACTUALLY works..?

Well, I did some research, and now I'm fully clued up on this new hydrating trend!

So Joanna, what IS tanning water?

I'm so glad you asked! According to Stylist Magazine, tanning water is made up of 'water, vitamins and DHA (dihydroxyacetone - which is a self-tanning ingredient)'. This concoction makes a gradual tanner that develops over time, leaving you glowing and gorgeous!

The most talked about product that offers this texture is this Isle of Paradise tanning water which has been featured in Stylist and Cosmopolitan as a firm favourite. it retails at £18.95 which is a little pricey but the reviews are saying it's really worth the money!

So Joanna, How do I apply it?

First, make sure you have an even skin surface by exfoliating your body around 24 hours before. Prep is everything when applying gradual tan!

Then apply this product liberally all over the body then take an applicator mitt and sweep the product over your body to ensure it's blended!

How long does it last?

This tan, lifestyle dependant can last up to 6 days before reapplication meaning tanners will have to commit to the tan.

What do you think? Would you try this tanning water? Let us know!
