Dropping up to 20 new stunning collections every year, ZARA prides itself as being a staple on the UK's trendiest highstreets.

It has been reported that the ZARA process of development through to distribution, can be achieved in as little as seven days, promising you a wardrobe that keeps you truly up-to-date!

Ranked by Interbrand as the 24th best global brand, it's clear they're doing something right, and their newest collection is undoubtedly a testament to this.

This seasons drop is a total throwback to 1940s military chic, and we've fallen boot-over-helmet in love!

Here's 6 of our favourites from ZARA's Studio Collection - Fall/Winter 2017

Camel Oversized Coat - £179.00

With its camel colouring adding a softer touch to the often darker burning Autumn colours, shades like this make transitioning from your summer wardrobe to your autumn one that little bit easier.

With the entire collection channeling a military style-vibe, the oversized double-breasted style felt instantly reminiscent of the Second World War.

Wool-and-wool blends were a staple winter fabric throughout the 1940s, and with 77% of the outer shells composition made from wool, this piece is a beautiful throwback to a timeless look.

Navy Blue Trousers With Front Buttons - £79.99

Looking smart and well-presented is a big part of military etiquette. With this in mind, tailored trousers with accentuated creases will always make me think of suits and uniforms.

With the decorative buttons creating a symmetrical look, the high waist furthers this tidied appearance and encourages the natural pairing of a neatly tucked shirt.

Whether you prefer culottes or cigarette pants, tailored trousers have the ability to take  power-dressing to a whole new level.

White Cable-Knit Sweater With Lace - £49.99

I’m really pleased to see a little knitwear in this collection, even more so in that it’s been made out of something other than the most expensive fabrics on the market.

Given ZARA’s apparent commitment to sharp tailoring and seemingly high-end office wear, seeing relaxed fits such as cable-knit sweaters are a welcomed addition.

The lacey body and the snug neckline make this pick a perfect festive piece, with the wide buttoned sleeves once more channeling that evergreen military style.

Black Trousers With Red Side Stripe - £69.99

Ever heard of the phrase “earning your stripes”? Turns out it refers to gaining a higher rank in the military. You can probably see where I’m going with this.

As it happens, the red stripe could be seen to symbolise the ‘blood stripe’ worn down the outside leg seams on the dress uniforms of the United States Marine Corps.

Historically, these wouldn’t be worn as part of evening wear, but as fashion evolves, so does its boundaries.

Truthfully though, regardless of whether you got the reference, these trousers don’t need history to make a statement. They’re doing that all on their own.

Black Poplin Dress With Pleated Detail - £79.99

Knee-length shirtwaist dress with a peter pan collar? 40s throwback!

This style of dress has remained a vintage staple and is a popular cut among young people today, keeping it well in-line with modern trends.

The addition of a tied-in waist on what would otherwise be an A-line dress means that it upholds a strong fitted look. Meanwhile, the relaxed shoulders and caped open back add a softer touch to this unmistakably fierce look.

Black Leather High Heel Ankle Boots With Buckle - £99.99

Fusing a look of structure with chaos, these boots are truly made for walking.

The curves created above and below the foot absolutely make these boots, with the treads and the high block heel suggesting you could run a mile and look good doing it.

Pair with shorter garments to stop these from swallowing up your legs and go easy on the accessories. Trust me when I say that these will provide all the accessorising you’ll need!
