Madame Tussauds paraded Donald Trump waxwork outside the US embassy he refused to visit

Madame Tussauds responded to Donald Trump cancelling his UK trip by putting a waxwork of the President outside the new US embassy.

The US President cancelled his visit scheduled for February, complaining that the Obama Administration 'sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for 'peanuts', only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars.'

No doubt sensing the nation's dismay that the the most powerful misogynist xenophobe in the world will not be visiting our shores, Madame Tussaud's wax museum stepped in to give us the next best thing, bringing the Donald Trump waxwork to the new US embassy in Nine Elms for a photoshoot. 

Amused office and construction workers posed with the 6ft wax model, which appeared on Friday morning at the 'off location' site of the new embassy.

The world-famous museum said that it had taken Trump's replica to the embassy for a 'bit of fun'.
