Prosecco lovers out there, get your calendars out and mark the date 14th November 2018.

The late autumn Wednesday will reveal what can potentially be considered as a new world wonder. Or at least an early Christmas treat.

On this special day, Aldi will launch its new 6-litre bottle of prosecco, which is twice as big as last year’s Christmas premium- DOCG.

The remarkable Methuselah of Giotti Spumante Prosecco will be available online only, and after a careful calculation we have concluded it holds the equivalent of 64 glasses of prosecco. Each glass is meant to be packed with flavor as well, with the tasting notes described as “"sweet, almost creamy, mouthfeel with flavours of lemon zest, tangerine and pear". Perfect assemble for the Christmas season.

The bottle will cost £79.99, but considering it amounts to eight regular bottles of prosecco, it seems like a fair price for this table centrepiece.

To extend the good news further, the much popular jeroboam will return to stores and online on the same date. It’s a double celebration!
